Terms and Conditions for the Referral Program

1. Prerequisites for participation

Participants of the “Referral Program” (the “Program”) include existing Kontist customers (“Referrer”) and the invited person (“Referred Person”). Both the Referrer and the Referred Person must be natural persons, at least 18 years old and residents in countries where Kontist is present. The advertiser and the recruiter must be different individuals at all times.
Upon the successful referral of a new customer and fulfillment of all applicable conditions, the Referrer and the Referred person will receive a bonus (the “Referral Bonus”)as displayed in the Kontist web page or mobile app.

The following requirements apply to receive a referral bonus:

The Referrer shares with the Referred Person a specific link (the “referral link”)provided by Kontist. The Referrer may not use the referral link for commercial activities and in particular not for or in connection with paid advertising, social media or other promotions.
The Referred Person opens an account through the Kontist app by clicking on the referral link.
The Referred person must make purchases totaling at least €300 using either their virtual or physical Kontist card. Cash withdrawals do not count toward this spending requirement.
At the end of the first three-month period, the Referred Person maintains a positive account balance.
The Referred Person has not downgraded their subscription plan during the first three-month period. If a downgrade occurs, the bonus will be calculated based on the lowest active plan during that timeframe.

The Program may not be the main subject of the Referrer’s commercial activity.
Each existing customer is eligible to receive a referral bonus for up to 5 Referred Persons in total
The Referral Link may not be used for commercial purposes. Customers are strictly prohibited from engaging in any paid promotion or advertising, whether directly or via third parties, using their personal referral link.

This includes, but is not limited to:

i. Public dissemination of the referral link on websites, blogs, YouTube, Facebook, or other social media platforms designed to accumulate rewards

ii. Sending unsolicited messages to individuals who do not have a personal relationship with the Referrer

iii. Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to distribute the referral link

Any such activity is considered a violation of the referral program terms.

Kontist reserves the right to withhold or reclaim the referral bonus if abuse of the referral program is detected. Abuse includes, but is not limited to, cases where the referred customer does not intend to make genuine or long-term use of Kontist services, or where actions are taken solely to trigger the bonus payment. In the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions, Kontist may reverse and/or reclaim any Referral Bonus previously granted.

Kontist independently decides on the acceptance of a contract offer with a solicited party. A claim to the referral bonus does not arise if Kontist refuses to conclude a contract with the recommended new customer – for any reason. Changes to the referral bonus that take place after successful referral of a new customer to Kontist have no influence on the bonus amount and only apply for the future.
The Referral Bonus is only due when all conditions for a successful referral have been met and reviewed by Kontist.
The Program is a voluntary offer provided by Kontist and does not establish any legally enforceable rights. Kontist reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Program, including changes to eligibility criteria, bonus amounts, or the replacement of the Program with another referral or loyalty initiative. These Referral Terms may be updated at any time without prior notice, and any modifications will take effect upon publication on Kontist’s website, app, or other official channels.
The German law shall apply to this Program.
